Tetra Tech nips in to best WSP in competition to purchase UK consultant
Tetra Tech is set to proceed with its strike on UK consultants with the firm consenting to purchase RPS Gathering for more than £600m - besting a bid from WSP made over the mid-year.

The RPS Chiefs collectively support and plan to make the important moves to carry out the [Tetra Tech] Obtaining."
In August, WSP, which has guided financial backers it is pondering next raising the possibility of an offering war, said it had consented to purchase RPS for £591m - however, the Tetra Tech bid esteems the firm at £636m.
